About the role
The Tourist Hotel in Queanbeyan is seeking an experienced chef to join a friendly, fast‑paced kitchen team. You will work alongside a dedicated Head Chef and supportive colleagues in a family‑like environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present high‑quality, modern dishes across a variety of cuisines.
- Manage your own section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent standards throughout service.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience.
- Ability to work a rotating roster across a 7‑day operation (approximately 38 hrs/week).
Required skills
- Food hygiene compliance and knowledge.
- Immaculate grooming and pride in food presentation.
