About the role
Join the kitchen team at The Commonwealth Hotel as a full‑time Chef, working in an energetic, friendly environment alongside a dedicated Head Chef and supportive colleagues.
Key responsibilities
- Manage your own sections and consistently deliver high‑quality food throughout service.
- Maintain immaculate grooming and pride in food presentation.
- Work a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday, covering at least five days per week.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a fast‑paced, modern, and innovative culinary service.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in a professional, busy commercial kitchen.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent trade experience.
- Flexible, clear communication and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work five days within a seven‑day operation and adapt to rotating shifts.
Required skills
- Food hygiene compliance and knowledge of best practices.
- Expertise in food presentation to ensure top quality.
