About the role

Join JD Sports as a Full‑Time Apparel Sales Assistant on Pitt Street, delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast‑paced sports fashion environment. You will be the face of the brand, helping shoppers find the right products while upholding JD Sports’ reputation for style and service.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
• Develop and retain up‑to‑date product knowledge to advise customers effectively.
• Provide personalised 1:1 customer service, handling queries and processing sales.
• Collaborate with management and store team to meet KPIs and sales targets.
• Support visual merchandising, store cleanliness, and presentation tasks.
• Escalate customer complaints to management when necessary.
• Complete mandatory training on product, policy, and procedures.

Required profile

• Previous customer‑service experience in retail, hospitality or a similar field.
• Passion for sports fashion and familiarity with key brands.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑changing, high‑energy environment.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
