Full-Stack Web Developer

About the role

Indesign Media Asia Pacific is seeking a Full‑Stack Web Developer to build and evolve digital platforms for a highly engaged audience in architecture and design across Australia and the Asia‑Pacific region. You will have real influence over technical direction, work on a defined roadmap, and see your contributions compound over time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop front‑end features using React, Vue or Angular.
• Build back‑end services with Node.js and Django.
• Design, implement and maintain RESTful APIs and SQL databases.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Leverage AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor and Claude Code in daily development.
• Own features from database schema to user interface.
• Collaborate with editorial, design and commercial teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of full‑stack development experience with a portfolio of shipped products.
• Comfortable taking end‑to‑end ownership of features.
• Regular user of AI‑assisted coding tools.
• Desire to work as a long‑term internal partner rather than a short‑term project resource.
• Clear communication skills for non‑technical stakeholders.
