Full Stack Developer

About the role

Join Qantas' brand‑new Product Innovation Centre in Adelaide as a Full Stack Developer. You will help design, build and maintain high‑traffic, customer‑facing digital experiences that are fast, secure and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, delivery and development of scalable software systems for the business unit.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs and services using Java and modern frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot.
• Implement responsive front‑end features with JavaScript, React, SSR and Micro Front Ends.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, security and data‑privacy compliance.
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy, scale and monitor applications on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
• Proven track record building high‑traffic web applications.
• Strong understanding of cloud‑native development, CI/CD pipelines and observability tools.
• Passion for clean code, quality and continuous improvement.
• Accountable, test‑and‑learn mindset with strong collaboration skills.
