Full Stack Developer – Django & React

About the role

Healius is looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join its Pathology Applications team. You will help design, build, and maintain modern web‑based software that supports laboratory operations across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain full‑stack web applications using Django and React within an agile framework.
• Design and implement new features from business and technical specifications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects reported by users and stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement practices.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, QA testers, and application specialists to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, security, and governance standards, including SDLC requirements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and organisational information.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 12 months working with a Pathology Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Proven ability to work in regulated, complex environments and deliver both new features and ongoing support.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and time‑management skills.
