About the role

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Recruiting team is looking for a customer‑focused recruiter who can manage multiple requisitions, set benchmarks, and deliver a great experience for candidates and internal clients. You will partner with hiring managers across various business lines to design tailored hiring strategies and work on both tactical and strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches while managing expectations.
• Recommend recruitment ideas and strategies that support long‑range growth and align with Amazon’s mission.
• Develop and track plans with deliverables, timelines, and formal tracking processes.
• Participate in special projects such as best‑practice interviewing, leveraging internal talent sources, and identifying top performers for senior‑level roles.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of technical recruiting experience in a high‑volume, high‑bar environment.
• Proven ability to build candidate sourcing and closing strategies.
• Experience creating, measuring, and scaling workflows among candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting teams.

Required skills

• Experience with recruiting tools and systems, including resume databases.
• Proficiency with internet sourcing tools.
• Strong spreadsheet skills.
