Frontend Software Engineer – Design Systems

About the role

The Design Systems team at Kick is looking for a senior Frontend Software Engineer to help evolve and scale the shared UI foundations that power our products. You will work in a cloud‑native environment using React, NextJS, Storybook, Tailwind and NX, delivering reusable components and tooling for web and native platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high‑performance software solutions aligned with project requirements.
• Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure high code quality through hands‑on development.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, communicating technical concepts and project updates.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5‑6+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience, focusing on scalable system design.
• Proven track record of building successful design systems or complex user interfaces across multiple platforms.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
