Front Office Receptionist

About the role

Join the vibrant Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments as a Front Office Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences while upholding the brand’s hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Check guests in and out, maintaining accurate guest accounts.
• Take bookings, provide information and enter reservations into the system.
• Answer guest queries promptly and handle complaints in a positive manner.
• Promote Accor’s loyalty program to both members and non‑members.
• Liaise with other departments to coordinate room moves and special requests.

Required profile

• Previous front‑office or hotel reception experience preferred.
• Professional telephone manner with exceptional customer‑service skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time‑management abilities.
• Friendly, positive “can‑do” attitude and a team‑player mindset.
• Experience with the Opera property‑management system is a plus but not mandatory.
