Front Office Guest Service Agent

About the role

Join the Front Office team at Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets and be the first point of contact for guests seeking a memorable stay. You will deliver seamless check‑in and check‑out experiences while promoting the hotel’s local culture and amenities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform guest check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, enquiries, and service incidents.
• Maintain and update reservation profiles in the property management system.
• Welcome returning IHG members, encourage enrolment in IHG One Rewards, and promote room upgrades and on‑site food & beverage offers.
• Support overnight operations during night audit (e.g., 11 pm–7 am) alongside the Night Manager.
• Ensure guest safety and security while completing accurate night‑audit functions.
• Prepare daily reports and assist with reservations, room service, and other guest needs.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with a warm, approachable style.
• Positive attitude, passion for Adelaide’s local scene, and attention to detail.
• Energetic personality that lifts both team and guest experiences.
• Valid South Australian driver’s licence.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
