Front Office Duty Manager

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Guest Experience, you will lead the Front Office team at Monarto Safari Resort, ensuring every guest receives a memorable and seamless stay. This role combines operational oversight with direct guest interaction to uphold the resort’s high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily front office operations, including check‑in, check‑out and guest enquiries.
• Allocate tasks and prioritize workload for the front office team to deliver consistent, high‑quality service.
• Develop and coach team members, fostering skills that enhance overall hotel performance.
• Address guest concerns promptly, providing authentic solutions and maintaining satisfaction.
• Act as the first point of contact for critical emergencies, coordinating response efforts.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager or similar role within a hotel environment.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid visa allowing work in Australia.
• First Aid and basic CPR certification.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the NewBook property management system (desirable).
