Front Office All Rounder

About the role

The Front Office All Rounder is the first point of contact for guests at The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney. You will manage enquiries, reservations and check‑ins, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay in our iconic waterfront hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reservations received via phone, email and online platforms, providing accurate information on room availability, rates and special offers.
• Serve as the primary contact for guests, handling inquiries, modifications, cancellations and payment transactions.
• Allocate rooms according to guest preferences, availability and business demands.
• Suggest upgrades, special amenities and fulfill specific guest requests to enhance the experience.
• Maintain precise reservation records to support smooth check‑ins and check‑outs.
• Assist with valet services and support the concierge team during peak periods.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly, turning challenges into positive outcomes.

Required profile

• Customer‑service oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Full Australian driver’s licence and flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation and property‑management systems, specifically Opera Cloud.
