Front of House Attendant

About the role

Vili’s, a family‑owned South Australian café with over 50 years of history, is seeking friendly Front of House Attendants for its Mile End location. The role is casual with the possibility of becoming permanent, and operates on a 24/7 roster, offering flexible shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and create a warm, relaxed café atmosphere.
• Prepare and serve beverages efficiently (barista experience preferred but not required).
• Take and deliver food and drink orders accurately and promptly.
• Handle payments, keep the front counter stocked and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Maintain a clean dining area to ensure customer comfort.

Required profile

• Friendly, customer‑focused and reliable.
• Calm and efficient in a busy café environment.
• Enthusiastic to learn barista or hospitality tasks.
• Team player with good communication and a can‑do attitude.
• Flexible to cover a mix of day, afternoon and night shifts.

Required skills

• Barista (preferred but not essential).
• Cash handling.
