French Teacher – Ongoing Position

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic French teacher to join Unley High School on an ongoing basis, delivering French language instruction from early secondary through Year 12 and potentially another subject area. The role is integral to our Positive Behaviours for Learning and Personal and Social Identity programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver innovative French curriculum aligned with SACE, Australian Curriculum and South Australian Curriculum.
• Plan and implement learning programs that improve student outcomes and meet curriculum standards.
• Use data sets to evaluate student progress and inform instructional practice.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives such as Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL) and Personal and Social Identity (PSI).

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in secondary French teaching, preferably to Year 12.
• Strong knowledge of SACE, Australian Curriculum and South Australian Curriculum.
• Excellent organisational skills and a strong work ethic.
• Commitment to fostering respectful, diverse and inclusive learning environments.
