Freelance Senior Graphic Designer

About the role

Aquent is seeking freelance senior graphic designers to work with a renowned publishing house on a variety of product lines, including books, craft kits, coloring books, puzzles and journals. The role offers creative freedom to shape visual identity and influence consumer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Design eye‑catching packaging for kids, toys, craft and game categories, using colour, hierarchy and messaging to stand out on shelves.
• Develop concept‑driven visual directions for editorial and lifestyle products, translating trends into market‑ready designs.
• Utilise AI tools for rapid concept generation and image exploration to accelerate the design process.

Required profile

• Strong senior‑level portfolio demonstrating typography, colour mastery and a passion for design.
• Proven experience in at least one of: packaging design, creative/conceptual design, or trend‑led editorial design.
• Ability to translate global trends into commercially viable product ranges while preserving brand identity.
