Franchise Development Manager - Asia Pacific

About the role

Freedom Boat Club, the world's largest members-only boat club and part of Brunswick Corporation, is expanding across the Asia Pacific region and is seeking an experienced Franchise Development Manager. The role supports franchise growth, strengthens partner performance and drives operational excellence across the network. It reports to the General Manager, Freedom Boat Club Asia Pacific, with a dotted-line line to the Vice President, Freedom Franchise Systems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify franchise expansion opportunities and support the development and sale of new franchise territories
• Help franchisees with membership growth strategies and assess local market opportunities
• Act as the main liaison between franchisees and leadership, and guide partners to improve performance
• Monitor compliance with operational standards, conduct site visits and business reviews, and promote best practices
• Support new franchisees through onboarding and start-up, and deliver training and development programs
• Maintain operational manuals, training guides and support resources
• Promote shared service offerings and support marketing, sales and membership initiatives
• Assist with boat shows, franchise conferences and dealer events

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated experience in franchise operations, business development, sales, account management or multi-site business support
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, and excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across a geographically dispersed region
• Preferred: franchise or membership business background, marine, leisure, hospitality, recreation or service industry experience, training/coaching experience, and exposure to Asia Pacific markets
• Preferred location: Mosman, NSW, Australia; flexible remote arrangements may be considered
