Founding Engineer

About the role

As a Founding Engineer at Nevam, you will shape the technical foundation of a real‑time customer journey platform for enterprise customers. You will work hands‑on across the full stack while defining the long‑term architecture of an AI‑native product.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full stack – frontend, backend, infrastructure, and operations.
• Make foundational decisions on architecture, scalability, and LLM integration.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical strategies.
• Actively manage technical debt with documentation, visibility, and prioritisation.
• Interface directly with customers for technical discovery and solution design.
• Set engineering practices through your work, not just management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack engineering experience.
• Expert‑level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proven experience architecting and operating production systems on Google Cloud.
• Strong frontend experience with Vue (or transferable skills in React/Angular).
• Backend experience building APIs and services using Node.js, Python, or equivalent.
• AI product experience – building or integrating LLMs, agents, or AI‑driven workflows.
• Fluency with modern AI development tooling and a balanced approach to experimentation and speed.
