Food Services Attendant - Transitional Care Services

About the role

Pullman Adelaide, a Pullman by Accor hotel in the Adelaide CBD, partners with Amplar Health Home Hospital to run a Transition Care Service (TCS) that turns selected hotel spaces into healing environments for patients recovering outside hospital walls. As a Food Services Attendant on the TCS team, you provide warm, professional and personalised food service, supporting guest wellbeing so that every meal contributes to the recovery journey. This is a part-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with patient menu selections with Amplar Health clinical staff and the culinary team, meeting dietary needs and medical restrictions.
• Deliver meals to designated floors with warmth and professionalism.
• Prepare trays and service items with the stewarding team for timely, organised room delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food service areas, following infection control protocols and food safety standards.
• Communicate with TCS and dietary staff about guest needs and relay accurate information to the culinary team.
• Monitor TCS supplies and equipment and report issues promptly.
• Uphold Pullman Service Standards in every interaction.

Required profile

• Caring, service-focused person with a calm and approachable manner.
• Attention to detail and pride in creating a safe, welcoming environment.
• Previous hospitality or healthcare experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Eligible for a South Australian Working with Vulnerable People Check and National Police Clearance, and working rights in Australia.
