Food Services Assistant - Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health is recruiting a Food Services Assistant in Hervey Bay. The role sits within an aged care setting where the team prepares meals for residents, working closely with them to create meals that suit every individual. The work is mostly on your feet during shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food and drink
• Clean, including washing dishes
• Change the menu by working with the team and residents to create meals for everyone
• Keep records as part of the Food Safety Program

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care experience is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
