Food Services Assistant - Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health Knoxfield, a permanent part-time/casual aged care home near Westfield Knox and the Lakewood nature reserve, is looking for an experienced Food Services Assistant. The role is about helping residents enjoy good food and meals tailored to each person.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food and drink
• Clean, including washing dishes
• Change the menu by working with the team and residents to create meals that suit everyone
• Keep records as part of the Food Safety Program
• Stay active and on your feet for most of your shift

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care experience is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
