About the role

As a Food Service Assistant at Summerset's Cranbourne North village, you will support daily kitchen operations, ensuring chefs can provide nutritious, high‑quality meals to residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with basic food preparation such as peeling, chopping and portioning.
  • Help with plating and presentation of meals.
  • Operate dishwashers and ensure all kitchenware is properly sanitised.
  • Maintain clean, organised, and compliant kitchen areas.
  • Receive, unpack and store deliveries, including stock rotation.

Required profile

  • Approachable, reliable, and a strong team player.
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred.
  • Friendly, can‑do attitude with good communication skills.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
