Food Processing Operator

About the role

This role is based at a leading poultry processing facility in Mt Cotton, Queensland, offering a stable full‑time position with weekly pay. You will work in a temperature‑controlled environment packing whole chickens and portioned poultry products. You can choose between an early day shift starting at 4 am or an afternoon shift from 2 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Pack whole chickens and portioned poultry products.
• Handle poultry safely in a fast‑paced, temperature‑controlled environment.
• Clean and sanitise workstations following food‑safety procedures.
• Support the production team to meet daily output targets.

Required profile

• Reliable and available Monday‑to‑Friday for a guaranteed 38‑hour week.
• Physically fit for manual work and comfortable working in a cold environment.
• Own reliable transport (public transport not available).
• Positive, motivated team player able to pass pre‑employment functional assessment and drug & alcohol screening.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (for experienced operators).
