About the role

Join the vibrant hospitality team at Mercure Perth as a Food & Beverage Attendant. You will be the welcoming face for guests across our restaurant, bar, and event spaces, delivering memorable dining experiences in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders and serve food and drinks in the restaurant, bar and banquet areas.
• Promote our locally sourced menus, beverage lists and daily promotions, acting as a knowledgeable ambassador for the brand.
• Maintain clean, safe and well‑organized dining and bar areas, adhering to food safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service during peak periods.
• Adapt to varied service settings, from morning buffet to evening bar service and banquet events.

Required profile

• Warm, positive attitude with a genuine passion for guest interaction.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to stay calm, efficient and friendly under pressure.
• Flexible availability for rotating shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Valid Western Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
