Food & Beverage Attendant – Casual

About the role

Lindsay Gardens Retirement Living, part of Aveo, is a 7-acre retirement community in Buderim, Queensland, near Buderim Forest Park and Mooloolaba Beach. It is looking for a casual Food & Beverage Attendant to cover leave and provide extra support when needed. Availability is asked on application.

Key responsibilities

• Use the POS system to take orders while giving friendly, attentive and personalised service to residents
• Serve meals and drinks throughout service times
• Assist with light food preparation, including plating meals and preparing simple items such as salads
• Help set up and pack down dining areas and events, keeping them clean and organised
• Build meaningful connections with residents and foster a sense of community

Required profile

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience is desirable
• A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment is most important
• Friendly, people-focused attitude and strong communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working in retirement living
