Food and Beverage Attendant

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Food and Beverage Attendant to join our historic luxury estate in Adelaide Hills. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering attentive service across our restaurant, bars and event spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, take orders and serve food and beverages.
• Set up and clear tables, maintain clean and well‑presented service areas.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist with basic food preparation and support kitchen and bar staff.
• Handle payments and operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Respond to guest enquiries and ensure a smooth, professional dining experience.

Required profile

• Strong food & beverage service experience in restaurant or hotel environments.
• Competence in food preparation and basic food safety knowledge.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and events.
• Previous experience in fine‑dining or luxury venues is highly regarded.
• Basic numeracy and POS experience preferred.
• Current RSA certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Reliable, well‑presented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced team.
