Financial Controller – Senior Finance Leadership

About the role

Sundale is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its Finance team in Burnside, Sunshine Coast. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead financial governance, performance reporting and strategic decision‑making for a purpose‑driven organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting across the organisation.
• Oversee statutory financial reporting, including preparation of annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Manage monthly, half‑yearly and annual close processes.
• Coordinate audit activities, treasury, tax management, insurance renewal and liquidity management.
• Provide executive and board‑level financial reporting and analysis.
• Develop and mentor the Finance team while building strong relationships with operational leaders.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with extensive experience in financial control and governance.
• Commercially astute with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
• Proven track record of leading finance functions in a complex, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong communication skills and experience presenting to senior executives and boards.
