Financial Controller – Perth

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance function in Perth. You will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and supporting strategic decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and manage the general ledger.
• Prepare and present financial statements in line with applicable standards.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, forecasts and conduct variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams, senior operational leaders and external auditors.
• Improve financial processes, implement best practices and support strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in accounting and preparation of financial statements.
• Solid background in finance and financial reporting.
• Well‑developed analytical skills for budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA or equivalent is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively, meet deadlines and communicate financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
