Financial Controller

About the role

ASPECT Studios is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its global Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will oversee financial controllership for the Northern Hemisphere studios (UK, UAE, China, Vietnam) and support group‑level initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end financial operations across multiple studios, delivering timely monthly management accounts, forecasts and year‑end reporting.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity, enforce robust financial controls and manage treasury activities including cash flow, working‑capital, foreign‑exchange and funding.
• Coordinate audits, manage relationships with external advisors and ensure compliance with local tax, statutory and regulatory obligations.
• Drive finance transformation projects to improve reporting quality, system efficiency and data integrity.
• Partner with Studio Directors and Executive Leadership to provide financial modelling, scenario planning and performance analysis for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Commercially minded finance leader with experience in multi‑jurisdictional environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to manage organisational change.
• Proven track record of improving financial governance and driving continuous improvement.
