Financial Controller

About the role

Heidi Health is looking for a Financial Controller to own the integrity of financial operations across its global entities. The role will lead month‑end and year‑end closes, financial controls and statutory reporting while scaling the finance function in a fast‑growing AI‑driven SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end month‑end and year‑end close for all Heidi entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Lead, develop and mentor the accounting team, establishing standards and a culture of ownership.
• Maintain a robust financial control environment across multi‑entity, multi‑currency structures, including reconciliations, intercompany accounting and journal entry review.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements and variance analysis for leadership and the board.
• Oversee statutory reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP in every jurisdiction.
• Coordinate tax and regulatory obligations (GST/VAT, payroll tax, corporate compliance) with external advisers.
• Partner with AR Operations, FP&A and FinOps teams to align revenue data, improve ERP workflows and drive automation.

Required profile

• Proven experience running a full accounting function end‑to‑end in a high‑growth SaaS or technology company.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑entity, multi‑currency accounting and statutory reporting.
• Track record of building and leading high‑performing accounting teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous process improvement.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools.
• Expertise in multi‑currency accounting, intercompany reconciliations and tax compliance.
