Financial Controller

About the role

The organisation is a diversified group with operations in logistics, distribution, property and investments, headquartered in Adelaide. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Financial Controller will act as the commercial and financial partner to the senior leadership team, shaping strategy across multiple business streams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Partner with the CEO and senior leaders on commercial decisions and investment analysis.
• Manage cash flow, compliance and financial governance.
• Drive process improvement, financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Provide commercial analysis and business insights across operational areas.
• Lead and develop a small finance team.
• Support strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Proven experience in a Financial Controller or Finance Manager leadership role.
• Strong commercial, analytical and business‑partnering capability.
• Experience managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and compliance.
• Pragmatic, hands‑on approach with excellent leadership and communication skills.
