Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced and commercially astute Financial Controller to lead financial governance, integrity and compliance across our global ice‑cream business. The role is critical for ensuring accurate financial records, robust control frameworks and high‑quality reporting in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously strengthen the internal control environment, ensuring compliance with global and local financial control frameworks.
• Act as the primary contact for risk management and control‑related matters, overseeing identification, monitoring and mitigation of financial and operational risks.
• Co‑lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, delivering timely and accurate financial statements with clear reconciliations.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and drive continuous improvement in close processes.
• Oversee preparation of statutory accounts in line with local regulatory requirements.
• Lead and coordinate external and internal audits, managing relationships with auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure audit findings are addressed with strong remediation plans.

Required profile

• Significant experience in technical accounting within a dynamic, fast‑paced FMCG environment.
• Proven track record of financial governance, statutory reporting, audit and risk management.
• Commercially minded with the ability to drive financial performance and support business decisions.
