Financial Controller

About the role

Heidi Health is seeking a Financial Controller to own the integrity of financial operations across its global entities. You will lead month‑end and year‑end closes, ensure robust financial controls, and support rapid, double‑digit growth in a high‑growth SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end month‑end and year‑end close for all Heidi entities, driving accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.
• Maintain a strong financial control environment across multi‑entity, multi‑currency structures, including reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and journal entry reviews.
• Produce timely monthly management reports, financial statements, and variance analyses for leadership and the board.
• Oversee statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP in all jurisdictions.
• Coordinate tax and regulatory obligations (GST/VAT, payroll tax, corporate compliance) with external advisers.
• Partner with AR Operations, FP&A, and FinOps teams to streamline revenue data flow and ERP automation.
• Support audit processes and manage relationships with external auditors.

Required profile

• Proven experience running a full accounting function end‑to‑end in a high‑growth SaaS or technology company.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and multi‑entity, multi‑currency accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high‑performing accounting teams.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and automation.
