Our client, a leading franchised new‑car dealership group, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their corporate head office in Canberra. Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements and reports.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial data.
• Monitor budgets, forecast performance and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Provide data‑driven insights to senior management for business decisions.
• Assist in strategic financial planning and long‑term financial modelling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CA is advantageous.
• Prior experience in the automotive industry is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and maintain high accuracy.
