Financial Controller – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

Atomi is seeking a Financial Controller to lead its finance function on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. Reporting to the Co‑CEO and managing two direct reports, you will combine day‑to‑day financial rigor with commercial insight while driving AI‑enabled reporting and forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual budgeting framework, drive forecasting, planning and performance analysis, and support the Co‑CEOs with investor reporting and strategic materials.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting functions, including monthly, quarterly and yearly close, accounts payable/receivable, cash management and financial reporting.
• Manage transactional finance such as bank approvals, treasury, contract reviews and interest‑rate optimisation.
• Build and maintain financial policies and controls, leveraging AI and automation to improve reporting speed and quality.
• Coach and develop two direct reports, strengthening an already stable finance team.
• Partner with business stakeholders to drive cost control, operational efficiency and challenge decisions with solid financial strategy.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification with deep experience in financial control and operations, preferably in a SaaS startup, tech industry or high‑growth business.
• Proven track record of measurable achievements and impact in previous finance roles.
• Strong sense of responsibility for team development and a genuine interest in driving financial excellence.
