Financial Controller – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

Rosterfy is seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to cover a 12‑month parental leave. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the company’s financial operations across multiple regions, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and strategic support for a fast‑growing SaaS business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Xero accounting processes, invoicing, bills and banking procedures.
• Produce timely financial reports, consolidations, budgets and SaaS‑specific metrics, including revenue recognition.
• Oversee payroll for the UK, Australia and the US using Gusto and related tools.
• Maintain banking relationships, treasury operations and foreign‑exchange management across regions.
• Implement automation tools such as ApprovalMax and other revenue‑recognition systems.
• Ensure month‑end close, global consolidation and statutory compliance.

Required profile

• 7+ years in accounting or financial management, preferably in start‑up or scale‑up SaaS environments.
• ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Advanced expertise in Xero and experience managing global finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance and internal controls.
• Proven ability to manage external bookkeeping or accounting service providers.
• Hands‑on, proactive problem‑solver comfortable with multiple stakeholders.
