Financial Analyst – Funds Management

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team of a listed alternative asset management group in Sydney. The position provides high‑visibility exposure to C‑level stakeholders and involves reporting and analysis for a portfolio of funds.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver regular reporting and analysis for a portfolio of funds.
• Produce executive and board level reports and investor presentations.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support decision‑making.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insights.
• Identify and implement ad‑hoc process improvements.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified accountant or analyst with strong academic results.
• Prior experience in funds management or a chartered environment.
• Ambitious and motivated to build a career in asset management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior leadership.

Required skills

• Power BI (highly regarded).
