About the role

Our client, a leading manufacturing business in Australia, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the Group Finance team. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting process improvements.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and deliver month‑end reporting packages.
Compile annual financial statements and manage statutory reporting.
Execute group consolidations and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
Maintain the general ledger and develop finance templates to streamline processes.
Liaise with external auditors.
Participate in finance and process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

CA or CPA qualification.
Approximately five years of relevant experience, preferably in a large commercial or manufacturing environment.
Experience working with complex ERP systems.
Strong Microsoft Excel capabilities.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders.
