Financial Accountant

About the role

Euroz Hartleys Limited is seeking a motivated Financial Accountant to join its fast‑growing finance team in Western Australia. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a pivotal part in delivering accurate financial reporting, financial modelling and forecasting, while supporting governance initiatives across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end commission process for Private Wealth and act as the key partner to advisers.
• Own month‑end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Manage biannual Payment Times Reporting (PTR) and review/approve sales invoices, purchases and other transactional activity.
• Oversee equity‑settled transactions, including valuation and reporting.
• Prepare annual intangible‑asset and goodwill impairment assessments.
• Deliver cash‑flow forecasting, budgets and statutory accounts.
• Provide insightful ad‑hoc analysis and contribute to a variety of financial projects.
• Partner with auditors and internal teams to ensure smooth, accurate reporting cycles.
• Maintain high standards of financial control, accuracy and compliance.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification supported by a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
• At least 12 months of commercial accounting experience, preferably with exposure to Big 4 or mid‑tier environments.
• Proactive, commercially‑minded approach with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial setting.
• Strong capability in managing complex accounting areas such as commissions, equity transactions and impairment assessments.
• Solid technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
