Financial Accountant

About the role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant will own the month‑end close, ensure ERP data integrity and deliver statutory and management reporting. The role also provides technical accounting support and drives continuous improvement across the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end close and reporting, including journals, reconciliations and multi‑entity processes.
• Maintain ERP data accuracy, process transactions, manage fixed assets and perform variance analysis.
• Prepare statutory and financial reports such as BAS, FBT and AASB‑compliant statements.
• Provide technical accounting insights, respond to queries and champion process improvements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Financial Accountant.
• Fully qualified CPA/CA or working towards qualification.
• Public practice accounting experience is highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage all business levels.
