Finance Reporting Systems Analyst

About the role

Lactalis Australia is hiring a Finance Systems and Reporting Analyst for its Brisbane office, reporting to the Financial Controller. The role uses reporting and analytical tools to deliver accurate, timely reporting across the Finance function, leads system testing, process optimisation and automation, and acts as a key liaison between Finance, IT and offshore Shared Services teams. It is a permanent full-time position with a hybrid model of 60% office and 40% working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely reporting across Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Use reporting and analytical tools to provide insights that support business decisions.
• Investigate and resolve process, system and data discrepancies affecting financial reporting and operations.
• Act as Finance Business Process Owner for relevant systems, processes and reporting.
• Represent Finance in cross-functional projects on system, process and reporting changes.
• Coordinate SAP systems testing for configuration, process and reporting changes.
• Improve efficiency of Invoice to Pay and Order to Cash processes.
• Liaise with offshore Shared Services teams and support knowledge transfer, documentation, user training and change management.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation across Finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance systems, reporting, accounting or business process role, ideally in FMCG or a complex corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of finance processes and controls, including Invoice to Pay and Order to Cash.
• Experience in data extraction, validation and reconciliation, and proven systems testing and process improvement experience.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, accountable approach to managing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced SAP across finance modules, transactions, reporting and configuration testing.
• Advanced Excel, including data modelling, reconciliations, complex formulas and financial analysis.
• Power BI or similar reporting tools, with dashboard and reporting pack development.

Desirable: FMCG or multi-site experience, exposure to finance transformation or shared services optimisation, and experience supporting change management and user training.
