Finance Officer – Projects (Corporate Services)

About the role

Airport Development Group is looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join its Corporate Services team. You will provide accurate cost control and financial reporting for capital projects, supporting decision‑making across all project stages.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Project Managers and Finance to deliver timely financial information on active projects.
• Develop, manage and update project budgets, forecasts, contingencies and capitalisation processes.
• Monitor expenditure and commitments, analyse cost trends and flag risks or variances.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, delegations and accounting standards.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, receipt goods and match invoices.
• Prepare monthly reports, KPIs and project cost updates.
• Support internal and external audit processes and maintain robust financial controls.

Required profile

• Proactive, detail‑oriented finance professional who thrives in a project environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field.
• 3+ years post‑qualification experience, preferably in a large asset or capital‑project setting.
• Strong understanding of project cost control principles.
• Eligibility to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (including police record check).

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using corporate ERP systems (TechnologyOne experience desirable).
