Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer supports RDNS Your Choice HomeCare’s financial operations, reporting to the Business Operational Leader. Based in Petersham, the role combines payroll, financial management, asset accounting and oversight of accounts payable and receivable.

Key responsibilities

• Process fortnightly payroll and superannuation entitlements in line with organisational standards.
• Enter and reconcile accounts payable data, handle creditor queries and manage invoice processing.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and funding reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
• Produce monthly revenue and expense reports and assist in preparing financial statements.
• Maintain data integrity across all financial reporting and process cheque, EDI/EFT and direct‑debit payments.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet and general‑ledger accounts as required.
• Respond to financial enquiries, manage complaints and support business planning and policy improvement.
• Stay updated on changes to accounting principles, industry standards and regulations.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a finance/accounting role.
• Mandatory experience with MYOB.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to produce accurate reports.
