Finance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Officer to join the finance team supporting iSelect and Compare the Market. The role is hands‑on, covering the full accounts payable cycle while also providing exposure to accounts receivable, bank and credit‑card reconciliations, and month‑end activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process the end‑to‑end accounts payable workflow, including invoice validation, coding and payment.
• Assist with accounts receivable tasks and support bank, credit‑card and corporate travel reconciliations for both brands.
• Resolve payment queries, maintain accurate financial records and contribute to month‑end closing.
• Support the ERP implementation by cleaning data, testing functionality and suggesting process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth day‑to‑day finance operations.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in a Finance Officer or similar role with a strong focus on AP.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where priorities shift.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across the business.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with cloud‑based ERP systems.
