Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will oversee the financial performance of the brand in the Australian market, reporting directly to the International FD and working closely with the VP/Managing Director. This role ensures accurate reporting, cost control, and strategic financial planning to drive long‑term profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process for the Australian market, covering commissions, SG&A, and issue reporting to the International FD.
• Prepare and present monthly revenue performance and key metrics to senior management.
• Manage the annual operating plan, quarterly and monthly forecasts, ensuring high forecast accuracy.
• Identify risks and opportunities within forecasts and plans, and support capital acquisition requests with benefit justification.
• Produce monthly management reports, variance analyses, and ad‑hoc reports as required.
• Coordinate communication between Australian Finance and corporate functions to disseminate accounting and forecast updates.
• Partner with commercial and sales teams on commission structures, investment ROI analysis, and channel performance.
• Review vendor proposals, contracts, and support capital investment project cost‑benefit analyses.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance management, preferably within a multinational or travel‑related business.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to benchmark performance against peers and competitors.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple reporting cycles and deliver accurate, timely financial information.
