Finance Manager – Immediate Start – $165k

About the role

Join a well‑established investment firm in Sydney as Finance Manager. You will work closely with the CFO and executive team to ensure smooth financial operations, strong governance and accurate reporting across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting and reporting for multiple entities, including investment operations.
• Ensure timely compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory obligations (BAS, PAYG, FBT, ASIC).
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow reports and investment performance summaries.
• Oversee inter‑entity transactions, reconciliations and trust distributions.
• Lead management reporting, board packs and year‑end workpapers.
• Liaise with banks, suppliers, investment managers and external auditors.
• Maintain and enhance finance systems (e.g., Acumatica) and internal controls.
• Manage insurance policies and support junior team members.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified with at least 5 years of experience in a similar finance manager role.
• Strong background in multi‑entity accounting, Australian tax, trusts and related‑party transactions.
• Experience in an investment or complex corporate environment is highly desirable.
• Eligibility to work in Australia – Working Holiday Visa candidates are welcome.
