Finance Lead

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Finance Lead to head financial operations for its Plant and Equipment division supporting major infrastructure projects across Australia. Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage a finance team, oversee transactions, reporting and budgeting, and provide strategic advice to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance team and set clear performance goals
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable and transactions
• Prepare financial reports and coordinate budgets
• Design and implement financial governance frameworks
• Advise leadership on finance strategy and risk
• Drive compliance with Australian Accounting Standards
• Optimise financial performance through analysis and planning

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• Experience in month‑end project financial analysis
• Construction Induction Training (White Card)
• Proven leadership of finance teams
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
