Finance Director – Australia Site

About the role

The Finance Director for Australia will be the lead finance business partner for the development, construction and operational readiness of PsiQuantum’s new Brisbane site. Reporting to the VP Finance, this senior role works closely with site leadership, engineering, construction, supply chain and global finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to plan and oversee capital expenditures for facility construction, manufacturing equipment and supporting infrastructure.
• Develop multi‑year investment plans, cash‑flow forecasts and scenario analyses to guide executive decisions.
• Lead budgeting, workforce planning and operating expense models for the transition from construction to manufacturing.
• Oversee statutory financial reporting, audits, tax compliance (corporate income tax, GST, payroll tax, etc.) and regulatory filings for the Australian legal entity.
• Coordinate with global accounting and controllership to ensure alignment of local and corporate reporting requirements.

Required profile

• CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven experience as Finance Director, Controller or senior finance leader for an Australian entity.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory reporting.
• Experience managing large‑scale capital projects in technology, semiconductor or industrial settings.
