Finance and Corporate Services Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Finance and Corporate Services Manager to lead our finance function and support corporate services at the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia. Reporting to the CFO, you will work across the organisation to improve processes, provide financial insight and ensure robust governance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations including financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable and statutory compliance.
• Prepare monthly management reports, budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow analysis to aid decision‑making.
• Coordinate the annual external audit and maintain strong internal controls.
• Drive enhancements to finance systems and processes, particularly Microsoft Business Central.
• Support people operations such as recruitment, onboarding and HR administration.
• Assist with Board and Committee administration, governance activities and statutory lodgements.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years’ experience in finance or corporate services, including preparation of financial statements and audit coordination.
• Proven experience leading or supervising finance staff.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and excellent stakeholder communication.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central.
