Finance Analyst

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Finance Analyst to join its Finance Team in Sydney. You will support budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial performance analysis, partnering with business units to drive data‑based decisions and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts and month‑end financial reports.
• Conduct variance analysis and deliver insights to senior stakeholders.
• Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards and commentary.
• Collaborate with business units to explain performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist with corporate planning cycles and long‑range financial modelling.
• Contribute to enhancements in reporting, systems and financial governance.
• Support compliance with internal controls, audit requirements and organisational policies.

Required profile

• Experience in a finance, commercial or analytical role within a complex organisation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Progression toward CA/CPA qualification (preferred but not essential).

Required skills

• High proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with financial systems such as SAP.
• Familiarity with TM1 (desirable).
• Knowledge of Power BI for reporting (desirable).
