Finance Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our Regulatory Finance and Investment Governance team in Hobart. You will support decisions that shape Tasmania’s electricity network through financial modelling, regulatory reporting and investment governance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate complex financial decisions.
• Prepare regulatory finance reports and contribute to investment governance processes.
• Analyse data and translate insights into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in finance, business, economics or accounting.
• Strong understanding of commercial, economic, finance and accounting principles.
• Experience with regulatory reporting or operating within a regulated entity is highly regarded.
• Proven ability to communicate complex financial information to non‑financial audiences.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

• Base salary from $115,000 per year plus superannuation.
